The Ventura Cruise belongs to P & O Cruises, which is the oldest cruise line in the world, it has operated the first passenger ship in the world in the nineteenth century. She is the sister company and has strong links with P & O Cruises Australia.

The Ventura cruiser was built in the Italian shipyard Fincantieri and put into service in April 2008, Ventura was once the largest cruise ship of all time dedicated to the UK market with its 116,000 gross tons and its colossal dimensions 290 meters long, 36 meters wide and 8.5 meters deep.

P & O Cruises was founded in 1837. It was originally a constituent of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company. The company changed its name to P & O Line in 1840. In 1910 he purchased the entire fleet of the Blue Anchor Line.
