The Port Authority of A Coruña has just participated in the Seatrade Cruise Global fair, held in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), along with 17 other Spanish ports.
In the course of this fair, the members of the delegation of the Port of A Coruña held meetings with the most important shipping companies, in order to capture new routes and ships by 2018. For that year they are closed and at 90 stopovers, in which they will visit again the city the main cruises of the leading fleets of the sector.
These companies include MSC Cruises, Aida Cruises, Costa Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Carnival or P & O Cruises. They belong to most of the large ships that will visit the city next year, such as him or her, faithful to their Coruña scale.
Regarding the agreements reached in the course of the Seatrade, the one obtained with MSC Cruises stands out, which will reinforce its presence in the Port of A Coruña with 12 stops in 2018. Among them are the MSC Meraviglia, the flagship of a new generation of high-end ships that stands out for its high capacity, modern facilities, endowments such as an impressive outdoor water park or a large dome with LED screen, and an entertainment program on board that includes Cirque du Soleil shows. In addition to this first scale, there are those of the, which will add a total of 9 berths.
